Vacuum forming is a process of turning sheet plastic into a desired shape. This process involves heating Plastic sheets to a soft state and then, using a vacuum, we suck all the air out from around the Tool and form the shape with the softened plastic.
Vacuum forming is an inexpensive way to create interesting and quite complex components. The tooling cost for Vacuum forming plastics is far less than other plastic moulding methods and is faster to turn around to full production.
Vacuum formed plastic components can be used in many areas of the Retail environment as well as industrial components
